Message of Hope, Woodcut

I called this piece Message of Hope, this is because the main components represent Hope, Peace, Religion.

It linked to the previous picture, because the Hope is for the oppressed Kurdish people.

Peace is possible, as long as there is Religion and Hope.

The wall and barbed wire make it seem like the trials are unassailable, yet the pigeon is standing the on a roof above them, showing that reaching the
goal of peace is not impossible.

Furthermore, a clear link with previous picture is apparent lifeless black and white colour theme- all except the three symbols, which have colour.

Finally, the flower in the middle is called "The Flower of Support". This is because it seems like it is supporting the pigeon stand.

The moon is blue because it is akin to a hopeful blue sky. The green symbol of religion is green, because the religion od Islam is always green, like a growing plant. The pigeon is gray because that is a calm, peaceful colour, visible from the white background.
